Balloon lights

Following on from the beachball lights post how about these beauties from John Moncrieff on notonthehighstreet.com? These balloon lights are available in eight glossy colours: red, green, orange, blue, turquoise, grey, yellow and opal and they come in small, medium or large. What's more there's a wall mounted version too. They are a little pricey though, starting at £140 for the small wall-mounted version, but bite the bullet and they are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. 

Industrial lighting

If you are rocking the industrial trend, you can't go too wrong with these fab table lights from London designers Greg Avis and James Borley at the-electrical-shop.co.uk. Flexes come in different shades of flouro orange, yellow, sage green, rose pink and elephant grey and at £49 they are an absolute bargain - so why not splash out on a special filament bulb to complete the look.

Beachball lights

Yes, you read that right.  Lights that are inspired by the classic beachball from TOBYhouse - in fact they are real beachballs rendered rock hard (and safe!) on the inside. What fun. Perfect for a splash of colour in the kitchen, or to brighten up your children's bedroom or play area. They are available in 3 different sizes 30cm, 40cm and 50cm prices start at £350.

These pendants are a bit of fun if you fancy lightening the mood.  The elegant feminine affair is designed by Mars Hwasung Yoo from Eno Studio and comes with a range of different colour flexes to choose from for maximum statement effect.

And this Jeeves Bowler Hat Pendant light from Rockett St George is great fun.  Designed by Jake Phipps Jeeves (honest) I love the felt finish with gold metal lining. There is also a Wooster version apparently (although at time of writing it was not showing up on the site).

Pick and mix lights

I love these gorgeous lights from rothschildbickers.com.  Called Pick and Mix they come in green, teal, grey, blue, orange and gold.  What's more you can choose your flex from a variety of wonderful colours.  I fancy the grey with neon pink flex.  Better save up then - they cost £295 each (although this does include postage and VAT).

Pendant lighting industrial style

Look at these beautiful pendant lights from Aditi Studios.  I want them.  All of them.  Each light is hand sculptured using traditional, environmentally friendly methods and there are 3 styles to choose from - the Flying Scotsman, the Laerdal and the I/O.  Not cheap, starting from £435 but since each piece is individual, you'll have them for life.  My favourite is the delicate vintage floral version - industrial chic turned romantic.

My second post on Graham and Green in two weeks.  Can't help it, but I think they have such a have a vast and beautiful collection of lights at the moment - particularly their ceiling lights.
