Wall decals - the simple way to update a room

There is no easier way to give a room whole new look than by indulging in a wall decal or two.  Cost effective, easy to apply, no mess and simple to update when you fancy a change, I'm a great fan.   And this is one of the best sites around for a comprehensive range - Ambiance Live.  Particularly good for kids rooms I think.

Gotta love these - DIY wallpapers

First there was the tear off variety, now there is the Mosaic wall - both innovative and great fun wall coverings from Znak.  If you fancy a bit of creative DIY, with both these options you can personalise the appearance of your walls.

The 'Tear off' wallpaper is inspired by the transformation process of snakes, and allows you myriad opportunities for your walls - before you even think about what goes underneath.

And the Mosaic wall decals consist of different coloured self adhesive pieces of wallpaper and a stencil - there are loads of different configurations for you to play with, according to your creative bent!

Enjoy!

The Walldrobe

I so love this mural from www.mrperswall.com.  Reminiscent of Carrie in Sex and the City, I am itching for the right brief to give it a worthy home.  I could look at this for hours.

Bedroom art for kids

I think these decals from Inke Heiland made of vintage wallpaper are inspired.  You can choose your wallpaper and colour scheme, and animals come in all shapes and sizes from elephants to lions to crocodiles to birds.  Our little cherub has a tree, a giraffe and birds in her room.  She loves them.
